On 23rd November 2024, Rubberex demonstrated our commitment to health and well-being by hosting a 5KM Fun Run within our industrial area in honor of World Diabetes Day. With 133 enthusiastic participants, the event showcased how fitness, fun, and meaningful causes can come together.
This initiative not only raised awareness about diabetes but also directly benefited our workers, reinforcing our dedication to fostering a healthier workplace while aligning with our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. Together, we’re running towards a healthier future!
Kicking Off with Zumba and Fitness Fun
The day started with an energetic Zumba session, ensuring everyone was warmed up and prepared to prevent injuries during the run.
Flag-Off Session
At 7:30 AM, the Fun Run was officially flagged off. Our dedicated committee members were stationed at strategic checkpoints along the route to ensure the safety of all participants. By 7:50 AM, the first runner crossed the finish line, followed closely by the others, creating an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie.
Photography & Lucky Draw Session
The event concluded on a high note with a photography session to capture the memorable moments. A lucky draw followed, spreading joy and leaving participants in high spirits, making the celebration fun and rewarding for everyone.
